Unit 4 Exam 2012 |
The exam unit is externally set by the AQA exam board. This is a much shorter unit than unit 3. You will have an exam paper with a list of questions/themes to choose from. Your tutor will advise you as to which question's would be the most suitable for you to work from. It is very important that you do take your tutors advise as they will know from experience which question/s will allow you to be the most successful in order to gain the best possible grade.
Unit 3 Self Set 2011 |
This is a coursework unit based on your chosen self set theme. You will produce TWO sets of work based on this theme.
Work - Set 1
You will have eight weeks to complete this set of work. Your work will be monitored and reviewed at regular intervals during this time. A lot of the work you produce for this set of work will allow you to try out and experiment with new skills and techniques. You will produce a range of research, development and a final outcome. You may want to put together your own `set up` for your theme or you may want to work from photographs. Make sure that you have photographs ready when you need them.
Work - Set 2
You can approach the second set of work in either of the following ways:
As a continuation of your 1st set of work. You may want to add additional research in order to bring new imagery/ideas to the theme you are working on. You could look at additional artists. You will need additional development pieces and a 2nd final outcome.
