Worldfest

The successful London bid to host the 2012 Olympics also used the 'world in one city' slogan, suggesting that:
'In 2012, our multicultural diversity will mean every competing nation in the Games will find local supporters as enthusiastic as back home' (www.london2012.org).
In addition, the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad is the largest cultural celebration in the history of the modern Olympic and Paralympic Movements.

It is designed to give everyone in the UK a chance to be part of London 2012 and inspire creativity across all forms of culture, especially among young people.

Inspired by this, you are to research, design and produce the following:

• a banner to represent a diverse range of cultures, for example Egypt, Greece, China & Japan.
• a head or neckpiece which could be worn as part of a costume at this event
• a design for Olympic memorabilia e.g. T Shirt print, Mugs, Sneakers
