Marvel Signs - Project Brief:
You are required to produce a Corporate Identity for a new signmaking company called Marvel Signs. You will find on the accompanying page, a brief company history that will provide you with valuable insights into the nature of the signmaking industry and hopefully present you with starting points for the design process.
You will need to begin by consolidating your understanding of the signmaking industry; you will do this by meeting with the client and also by undertaking web-based research. There are a few examples of what your client considers to be good corporate imagery provided as web links at the bottom of this page. This will clearly also give you some idea as to the expected standard of work from you, and of what the competition has to offer. These websites also illustrate the products that Marvel Signs will have to offer.
About My Artwork:
For this work I used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, the leaning M represents that Marvel sign are leaders in their field because the "M" leans forwards, thus representing moving ahead.
The grid pattern in the flyer represents graph paper which in turn represents accurate traditional based graphics. This is supposed to mean that Marvel Signs have skills ranging from very precise tradtional design skils right upto the latest in design technoligy.
The icons represent each different product Marvel offer, being Sign Design, Vehical Livery, Printing, Stationary, Graphic Design and Merchindise Design.
